Meet Our Team

Meet your Swansea Cat Clinic team, on hand to help you and your cuddly cats with anything you need.

Richard Beynon BVSc CertVA MRCVS

Director

Richard studied in Liverpool University and for many years worked for animal charities in the UK and abroad. He then went on to do a certificate in anaesthesia before opening his own veterinary surgery.
Although fond of dogs he has had a lifelong ambition of setting up a cat clinic to focus on their specific care.
Richard has two cats Chico and Marcel and during lock down taught himself to play the accordion.

Jess Saunders RVN

Director & RVN

Jess always wanted to work with animals and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017, after studying in Pencoed college. Throughout her time working in practice she found herself drawn to the management side of the industry. Being involved in the development of the Swansea Cat Clinic has been very rewarding for her.
Outside of work, Jess is kept busy by her two young children and caring for the family pets.

Christina Haeney RVN

RVN

Christina is a newly qualified veterinary nurse who enjoys all aspects of her job. She has a passion for paediatric and neonatal care and often fosters orphaned kittens in her spare time. Outside of work she is a keen beekeeper, and enjoys tending to the rest of her smallholding including her two rescue pigs, Trevor and George.
